Miami, FL — VITAS® Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care, served as a chairman sponsor of the University of Miami (UM) Business of Health Care conference.

“Technology & People: US & Beyond,” the university’s eighth annual Business of Health Care conference, was held on March 29, 2019, at the University of Miami Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

Among the speakers featured at the day-long annual event—some of healthcare’s most influential business leaders and policymakers—was Patrick Hale, VITAS executive vice president and chief information officer.
